I'm not sure about the newer ones as far as companies, but Hypertech has always done good work. It seems to me that they sell you a good for one use programmer and then you do it your ownself. Yes you can get it set up for better pulling and towing as opposed to more ponies type of power. Hypertech, they been doin' it for awhile.
