As an old timer out of the play for a long time, let me ask you guys something. In the Ancient Days, a lopey cam and open plenum intake manifold meant two things: no bottom end and quickly-fouled spark plugs. Since electronic ignitions took over with much, much higher firing voltages, I assume the clean-plugs problem is decreased, but... Are hi-po engines as touchy as they were? Nasty to keep rolling in ordinary (street) use?
