Holley Street dominator intake
I got my intake today. It's numbers are 701R-38 with 300-38 underneath that. It's in Great shape. One problem instead of using gaskets it looked like it was sealed to the block with RTV. is there a chemical cleaner that will remove RTV? I really don't want to scrape it or use a die grinder to buff it off.

Use a plastic scraper and scrape it off. DO NOT use a grinder or a metal putty knife.Jack

i used a credit card size plastic scraper to get it off then I cleaned it up a little with a fine abrasive disc on the end of a drill. I was suprised by how good of condition it was. I don't think it was ever ran.

I didn't go crazy on it. I kept it moving and at a low rpm
