Take out # 1 plug. ( the 1st plug on front of motor, Driver side) Take off dis. cap. Have someone sit in car and have them bump engine while you are holding your figer over the # 1 plug hole. You will be able to feel the compesssion. Do it a few times so you will be able to tell when it is on its highest presure point. When it is at this point. The pistion is all the way up on compression. Look at your rotor button on your dis. Mark with a black marker where it is at. Place cap back on. The wire it is pointing to is your 1. The next wire on it,s right is # 8, and so on. Standing in front of you motor. The ciliders from front to back on left are 2 4 6 8. On the right are 1 3 5 7. John.John
