    tax time, means decission making

Well we all know that tax returns are here and i am getting a pretty hefty lump. Now i'm debating wether i should get some new heads for my 350 (AFR 195cc) and a bigger cam. Or should i go ahead and buy my new block from P.A.W.. There is another problem, 400sb or 427bb....ultimately the block chosen will be twin turbo charged. I know recently i've just been buying things, Suspension and drivetrain components. I only have about two months with my car before i go on deployment (NAVY.) But i really enjoy driving my car, and i havent driven it already for a couple of months due to the tranny. I will have it done next week, and i already have my tax money coming tommorow, plus some dinero i have saved. Suggestions?

yeah eventually i will be doing pretty much a ground up customization of my car in december. The block i buy is for the reincarnation of my car. Starting in feb. i will be in and out and only be here a few weekends in the upcoming months and then i will be out overseas until dec. time frame. So the times i drive my car i really want to enjoy it. I want it to be a bit more ballsy or should i leave the way it is and buy my next block?

Right now i feel like an impatient little booger because i am waiting for my super front end kit (p-s-t) and the posi.

Also does anyone know where i can buy a 15x7 rally rim for my car here in san diego or online since mine is bent?

All this being done to my car due to a rice rocket thats why i "dislike" them. I could've had my next block already.

If you really want to be cool, put a little 514ci Ford Motorsports 460 (9.8:1 compression, 625 horsepower at 4800 rpm and 600 ft.-lbs. of torque at 4800 rpm.) for $7999 in that Chebie and really get folks confused!

If you insist on a Chebie engine you can get a Chebie crate ZZ572 for $12,999 that makes less power than the Ford, but more TQ (GM Performance Parts largest most powerful street engine is here. These ZZ572 are built around an all-new generation VI one piece main seal tall deck 572 cid with approximately 9.6:1 compression, 620 horsepower at 5500 rpm, and 650 ft./lbs. of torque at 4500 rpm).

I have a 521ci Ford in my 71 CHevelle SS and its great to prop the hood open at a cruise and sit behind the car in my chair and just wait for the fun to begin! My old 521 thats in the Chevelle makes 710 HP on pump gas, my new one in my non street use truck makes 930 HP on VP racing C-14 fuel. The weight of a 460 is not much, about 900 lbs without accessories, but the 700 FT/LB's of torque is just stupid fun! I want to get a sticker for the back window of the Chevelle that says "Vulger Display of Ford Power!"

You can make one heck of a 521 on the cheap with the new Jon Kasse Super CobraJet heads that FMS sales right from the dealership parts counters! A 460 block need minimal work to put a 4.3" crank in and parts so cheap for the BBF today its crazy! You can do a 521 BBF for about 5 grand if you do the assembly yourself, and it would be awesome!

These new SCJ heads and Jon Kasse won the 2003 Big Block Engine Masters Challange, no Chebie or Dodge can make the claim of pump gas king this year, its blue blood all the way. You want to win? Want to turn heads? Bleed blue!http://popularhotrodding.com/enginem...3/0404phr_emc/
