Engine build
Ok. I would like a streetable engine with good torque and HP, but that runs well on pump gas. I doubt I would ever take it to a strip, except to just see what it might do... but not competitively. I have a brand new 2101 Edlebrock intake and 4106 Carb. Logic would suggest that I stay w/ Edlebrock for the rest of my top end stuff (cam, lifters, etc.) Is 300-325 HP realistic? What would the top end cost if the bottom end only needs rings? Also, "blueprinting' was mentioned. What is that? sorry 'bout all the questions, but I have many Q's and few A's.
".......So sanded it all down and resprayed. ......" Been there. done that on a couple of paint jobs over the years. Usually took me a couple of days to get over being mad before I started...
