went to oreilys and talked to the store clerk that works there, and he said the same thing. $35 aint bad but i am gonna try and tackle them myself. thanks man. just got my piston rings in too, just gotta get my piston pressed on to the connecting rod tommorow and hopefully have the bottom end assembled this weekend.
usually when their is a problem with a cylinder, piston or rod you should change the pair that sit in the same journal
My 305 had a rod knocking and i changed the pair in mine
