Hi!

The oilpump on my almost newbuilt 402 stopped spinning, a piece of one of the gears came loose and made them stuck, very strange.

So my HEI distributor become crap, and in order to use the car until I have a new MSD probillet I installed an very old distributor with points.

The engine runs well @ 14 deg advance @ idle.

When reeving to 4000 I got about 35 deg.
When reeving 6000 I got about 45-50 DEG!! How come?!?

I need to figure out how to make the final advance less,
I want about 34-36 deg max advance for this engine.


Anyone who knows how to modify the advance of this old piece?

I have the vacuum disconnected permanent.
