    yes carbs are abit to big for the street. its a mild bbc.? if not and has s big roller cam in it it very well could not have the vacuum to work the brake booster any ways if its a big cam and you want to keep them carbs your looking at a very loose converter /hi stall more stall with a lite car like you have
