I am using all comp cams valve train, hyd flat tappet cam with their lifters, push rods, guide plates, springs, retainers, and locks. The only thing not comp cams is the roller rockers, the rockers are PRW brand that I bought from a local speed shop off there recommendation (The person I deal with is a long time engine builder and drag racer so I do trust his judgement.) I am not new to building engines its just been 15 or so years from the last time I built one. Looking at the geometry it all looks correct as far as movement on the roller tip comtacting the valve. I do have #1 on tdc and am checking just that one. I see nothing else other than the stud being short.
