Well I bought the most expensive autometer gauge that they had like $70 the motor has a larger oil pan on it and actually holds just over 7 qts all new fittings did not check visually for blockage but when had everything off of it cranked it over and had oil shooting out figured that was a good indicator that their was no blockage but maybe not
