Never saw one in person. Does it have rectangular or large oval ports? That'll tell ya what heads to run with it. Once you know that, choose heads and fill the crankcase with a stroker. I'm pretty sure a lot of cubic inches would make it work better.

Nice find!! Very peculiar--only seen pics in old magazines.

Looks real good in the mock-up.

I know this is an old thread, but....daaannnggg that intake looks so cool!!! Especially on a big block. Just curious what a cross ram does to the low end torque and midrange? Is it a high RPM intake or a good street intake. Just curious. I know absolutely nothing about them but they always get my attention. Did I say they look really cool?

SHould be a killer of low end torque.. Won't "pickup" 'til the middle and probably come on strong at 6 to 7 grand.. maybe more?!?!?!

Hello I just dynoed my 498 with the X-C96 yesterday 625 horse 575 torque. at 3700 it was making 559 for torque . i also compared it to a team g intake with a 1050 dominator team g made more power but average numbers it was 1 hp above the cross ram . For a 1 horsepower I'll take the wow factor with the x-c96. My build is a solid street roller not the biggest but idles at 10 inches of vacuum and is a dual quad that starts with a simple turn of the key . I put 1200 miles on this motor before having a oil pick-up issue . motor repaired and it purrs like a kitten at 11 to 1200

    BBC cross ram intake

A few simple things to do to make the intake drive well don't go overboard on carbs mine has a set of 500 hundreds 56 jets in front and a stock plate set in back mechanical secondaries . you also have to balance the left and right side temporary i used some heater hose and fitting between the two banks accessing the blow out plugs . solid roller cam 247/257 @50 pulls to 6200 and will run more
