    Since your intake's rpm power band is between 1500 and 6500rpm.....you would be best with a cam that has the same power band range. Something like this.....would make it breath better and keep the power band where you want it.

    i used this cam in my 396. my set up is very similar to yours. i wanted good street manners with good performance and a good cam sound. i could not be happier with this cam. i have about 2,000 miles on this motor in a 57 chev truck with a 2400 stall converter and 3:00 gears.i'm a very HAPPY
