    cam question

    my latest engine for my superstock mud racer is as follows;
    .030 454 with trw forged flat tops
    215 heads with 2.19/188 valves, mild exhaust porting
    single plane edelbrock with holley 800 dp
    melling 22204 cam, 502/527 lift with 214/224 duration with 107 lsa
    is this cam going to be enough for this combo, I only used it because I know it makes the 15" of vacuum that I need in my class. Roller is not an option because that would tech me out of my class.

    Make a call to your cam grinder. They have all the info to answer your question intelligently.
