well it started as getting my truck back together but one thing led to another and i wanted to bore the block .030 over then i said if i do that i might as well stroke it. i plan to beef up the rear end and run the biggest slick that i can which i believe is 30'' tall and 13.5 wide. as far as the engine goes lunati has a hydraulic roller cam with 241/249@.050 with .612/.612 and using afr 305 heads or trick flow 280 oval ports do you think its possible? if not 11's at least close to 12 flat. do you think the afr 305 is too big for street use or will it work with my combo with a dual plane intake and 870 carb.

i think i talk to you about this build some time back ? i have cars that i built engines for that ran in the hi 11s not what many would call street cars .but we use that word loosly around here .i built a low dollar548 that could be run all over the street that ran 8.50 @ 155mph on engine .its not so much the engine its keeping the stall from going to lunch. my stuff is about as far as i can go on the street with out selling all your vital organs . to keep what i have working took a $1200.+ steel stator coan 9 inch stall and a coan super sprag $$. many parts that many just over look
