    BBC retainers

     



    I have a question about my valve spring retainers. The part that the keepers go into. Some look like they are cracked. The line follows the curve of the retainer just outside the keepers. The pictures are the best I can get you'll see the lines which appear to be cracks I can't imagen them being scratches

    yep just like i PM you them are O and they made U and T some other s they are all powder metal and thats just the way they all look

    i would worry more about the ex rotators .you cant run much spring with them retainters any ways i have 100s of them there T .U .O. and others they all have lines in them thats just how there made
