ok i see what your doing i do not have much to add. the deal were big blocks cost alot is B.S you can make more power and put more power thru stock parts if put together right then most all engines .so for the dollar there one of the best bangs for the buck. if you need to pick up cans. sell scrap. get another job.do some horse trading .shop on e bay .swap meets and get smaller cc chamber heads or pistons with some domes. or get it has good as you can marine cam will do for now 500/500 222/234. 114 or some were about there o deck the block .and you can chop some off the heads if you going to use all your stuff
