is it worth the trade off

one of the rules in my class is a 3 engine bolt on rule. for me this means my intake my headers and my holley 800dp are my three bolt ons. I am toying with the idea of running a well built q-jet( factory carb so it not considered a bolt on) and using a mechanical roller cam, which would be my third bolt on. while I am not a big Q-jet fan I would love the top end power that a mechanical roller would provide on my 454. Any opinions?

Will the heads support the additional rpm's? Will the reciprocating assembly put up with the additional r's? Are you geared for the higher r's?

better heads are coming along with some better internals, also truck has 5.13 gears and I am at max rpm at half track right now, so there is room for more rpm.
