    402 chevy

Hi,I have a chance to buy my buddys 402 big block. It has a Lunati 588 solid lifter cam and wwas rebuilt about 1000 miles ago. It comes with everything,Headers,Acell distribitor, and a 750 Eldbrock along with a new in the box 750 spare carb. The engine number is 3969854 and the heads are 3964290. I have heard it run in the car and i can get the engine for $1000 bucks. Is this worth the effort? I would install it in my 80 Malibu roller. Thanks for any help,Davey

Going by that casting # it is a 1972 Chevy 360 or 375 HP, 2 bolt block. Any running Big Block is worth a $1,000 any day, at least to me it would be. Snatch it up if you can.
