i used them every way you can think of . for street the solid bronze thrust washer is fine you can buy a timming set this way .you do not need to cut the block for a ware washer less the block is worn in here . i also have used a plane upper top gear with no thrust washers as well all will work .i think i posted about this ? yep #4 post
