Thread: Test run egine stand

Richard, you will still need a tail wheel of some kind ,if you have no trans. Or some other way to hold up the back of the engine.Show pictures if you can. I need ideas.

I have an Aluminum Plate that Bolts to the back of my Test stand with Gauges and a ignition Switch . I have even seen Test Stand constructed out of Wood . Most Engines will need a Bellhousing to hook up a starter .

This is a Camaro clip pretty much the same as the Nova. Anyway just to give you an idea, my trans is still mounted to the engine, and I have the cross member also. It would be nice to have casters on the rear with the wheels up front to move it around. (I copied the image from a Hot Rod article.)

If was front wheel drive you could put a seat on it and take it for a spin!!

You could probably find someone doing that on youtube. I have seen a video where two or three guys/nuts were trying to see how long it would take for an engine to blowup without oil. They may have drained the water also I can't remember if they did or didn't. They were having a good time, and it looked like they were sober.

I just checked out your artwork that has to be one of a kind for each table. Are there any motorcycles left in town with chains? Just kidding. Nice 68 Camaro

The chain is scrap I get from work, as for the camaro, my son and I hope to have it going soon.

Nice work, have you known of anyone else doing art like that with chains? That will be nice working on the car with your son.

No,an the guys at work though I was nuts for taken the old chain! now they all want a table!.
