well that,s good that you drilled the block for them 1037 felpros .you could teardrop that valley hole in the front thru to the cam top gear i roll the bottom of the hole and drill a 3/16 hole rigth center back across of the dist hole puts abit more oil on the cam gear if the back cam bearing is at 6:00 a not at 12:00 i use the drilled 1/4 pipe plug s in front of the block lifter galleys keeps air out and sprays more oil on timming set and block face were cam gear rides .take some 80 grit buy hand or i use a flap wheel and roll just the bottoms edge of the pistons bores they look sharp in the photo ??if so they will shave your pistons.i roll the oil hole in the rear main cap the side were the bolt hole is DO NOT make the well bigger. that is if you want thats some of the things i do.OH i hope you shoved some rags if your cam bearings are in the block ? grinding and babbit do not mix hot steel may stick
you want to wash and blow to make sure there no junk under number 5 cam bearing that grooved 360 and lifter galleys feed off it. if there junk in there you know were it ends up
. i would take #5 out if in.. wash and blow it . cam bearings is the last thing after all block prep
