copper wire should crush if you drive the wire in the deck and then file it flat would work. not doing any thing the wire will bed in the gasket some what but can hold up the gasket and leak .how hi is the wire out of deck?. i would use ss wire and go with a small bore copper head gasket and coat the head gasket with hylomar and go that way now the deck is cut for wireLast edited by pat mccarthy; 11-18-2009 at 07:09 PM.
