    i never re torqued any head bolts/studs on any bbc heads i ever did. iron or alum up to 14.8 CR and more on boost and some on Nos i used felpros race all of them from the#1037.1027.1017-1 .1017-2 .1057.1093.and the rols grafoil. mr gasket .cometics .and the detroit as well as the stock felpros. and others . now i will say i TQ the heads down not the same way as a stock job like a hi HP build iron or on alum heads if not studs i use a washer under the bolt with some moly past on both side of the washer .but the way i do them may only work for me .every head i have put on.i never lost a gasket from the way i have done them.but if you can not sleep at night then re tq them
