    Roller lifters

     



    What is the difference between "Hippo" and standard roller lifters?
    If you run standard rollers on the street versus hippos what can or will happen?

    hi pressure pin oiling put more oil on the pins some are full time oiling so there is more oil on the valve springs as well keeps them happy.with out the hippo you just have to watch the pins .the hippo s are nice to have but i have used the std roller lifters has alot to do with miles and other things spring lbs rpms you can buy the comp tool that cut the lifter bore 1/2 way up the bore adds more oil on the lobe should help with a non hippo roller lifters
