    wipe with thinner till dry and i put a 1/8 or so bead on the intake and a 1/4 to 5/16 bead on the block then it sealed take your finger wet it and just wipe the inside the dist hole just a wee bit when the intake is down so the dist will not get in the way of the rvt . just hit the threads with a small amount of rtv to hold down any oil wicking thru the bolts .i have the snap on built in tq wrench arm start in the center work your way out in two steps then get it hot and give them a 1/4 turn should be 15 or so i stop when my arm clicks on the bbc main bolts my back go s out them i know there at 110 for bolts
