of using Hyper pistons as opposed to Forged in a 550HP BB:o

hyper are cheap one notch above caster . they can be run closer to the wall and work good for mild use down side some need a big end gap and are heavy not as strong as forged. i have used the alot of the speed pro s over the keith blacks see alot of the top ring land pop off of them forged the best all round and not much more then the kb i used the forged SRP have them in many builds i like the hypers in a low buck stroker builds 489/496 i know i have some that are in 500+ hp engine getting close to the line i think but if no Nos they will hold up

My machinist tells me exactly what Pat just said...........nos is the dividing line.

Thanks for the feedback, I have no plans for NOS and I can get Hypers with the dome size I'm looking for, so...........
