    98 454 upgrades

     



    I picked up a 454 out of a 98 Chevy Pick up for Free. I was wondering if it would be any good for a 84 Monte Play toy I take to a 1/8 mile Strip everyonce in a while. Do these need a Vortec intake like small blocks or will a big block intake bolt on these heads? I have found some 502 cams also would this be a decent motor to play with? This will be the first big block I have ever messed with. Thanks
