    I will say that "gear vender" and "cheap" dont go together, but what what doesnt compute for you?

    If he were to build a low buck, low revving, torque motor with the "door stops" (I did not say low quality, care should be taken in the assembly), the GVOD would then just put the cruise RPM down where that motor would work the best.

    For his application, it seems logical aside from the cost of the GVOD. Maybe an OD tranny would be a better route for the $$, I dont know.
