Congrats!!!....I do have a concern on post #3 you said teeth were missing. Am I missing something or was is possibly an old age thing like the rest of us where the eyes fool us?...
What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?

Oh, I was trying to say that it sounded like that might be whats happening. I wasn't sure at the time cause I ha no way of getting under it(too low) to check.

Can't speak to flexplate/TH350 combo's (got none) but my 350/TH400 has the 168 tooth plate and the staggered mount starter. But then again, it's a HO 350 out of a 68 Camaro, so maybe they were a tad different than the newer ones.Standard tooth count is 153. High performance (high compression) BBC were 168 count. Not very common especially with a TH350 behind them. Yours is more than likely the 153Bob
