trying to install a new B&M Holeshot 3k into a just built 454 and the torque converter hub is too large to fit into the pilot hole on crank. B&M says spec is 1.74 which I have, but crank hole is 1.69, and old TC is 1.69. Called tech people at BTE and ATI both confirm what B&M said, what gives? Some advise me to work crank with die grinder and remove enough material to allow hub to set in. Not sure this is adviseable with everything be balanced in there.
