if you are saying the bore are tapper from top to bottom less than a 1/2 a thou 5 tens that is good if there are size are diffrent that may be from the size of pistons i have seen pistons in the same set 001.3 smaller or bigger i fit every piston to the bore if they are like this it happens . if was TQ plated that will move the top of the bores you want to have the main caps tq down to when checking bores////// 6.135 rods stock

ok, so then i would probably go with 4 1/4 crank, how long of rods? the block is alredy .40 over so i have 4.290 bore. what name brand would u prefer for pistons, rods, crank, heads, cam? and where can i get these? the 427t have 4 ring pistions instead of 3 where would i get those, i havnt seen them anywhere? and is the bore of a 427 the same as 454 4.250? Thanks

not really i did see your post and have posted on this many times .your build can be done but i think it would cost the same to go 525 and that build would be the same all parts can be had for the 525 that were i would start if you have a block like i said you need

i see, but can u just answer some of my simple questions, i hate to bother you. 427T same bore as 454? 4.250? Do i need internally balanced crank or externally? and also do you know any good websites that have more specs on 427t? hp ratings...torques on bolts, stock size pistions, cranks, rods and so on?

i did tell you that the bore was the same you can run any crank you want inter or ex this has more to do with how much counter wt is on the crank the 427 T block i could not tell you what they made stock just never look at it. just used the blocks for bigger than stock builds cranks rods and pistons all can be had from many that make this stuff c.a.t scat. pistons ross .je. srp.etc it is just math 1/2 the stroke and add how long of a rod you want to run no less then 400 long and then what is the deck your case 10.200 this is subtracted from you numbers of the crank and rod you want to be down in the hole so subract .020 from the finale numbers that will give you your ch comp height for your pistons you what to run then look up the pistons for cr you want
