yeah i bet it was for a different reason lol. in my truck I currently have 4.10's in the rear with a detroit locker. next on my list is the suspension work, as well as dropping the BBC in the truck.
i figured, id go with a slightly lower duration cam, get some monster torque going, should be fun

with the info you gave, and i will agree with mr. erikson it is under carbuarated with the 650 carb, so desktopped with the 650 is 425 hp, 445 tq, and with a 750 carb, 440 hp, 451 tq.

i went to holley and put my info in, they ask how many cubes you have, and a bunch of other stuff, brakes, electric, or manual choke, etc. And they reccomened a 650. What do you guys think, maybe a 700???? 750?

the same info as above but with this cam instead, and run it with the 650 first, and then try the 750 carb. Thanks!
