    Question 454 boat motor ?

     



    I have a chance to pick up a crusader 454 350 hp motor but not sure if its rev rotation if so can I just change the cam to bring it back to std rotation or are there other things to look out for
    there is no substitute for horsepower

    yes the rear main seal and check it over good

    I had already planned on a basic rebuild (bearings and gaskets )but what about the rear main seal
    there is no substitute for horsepower

    the seal will rope the oil out if you do not get one for std rotation look at a seal you will se this ///////// on the lip inside of the seal it would not the same \\\\\\\\\\

    cool thanks Pat this turned into a quick project since my daily driver blew up I guess 6.2 diesel dont run too well with half their inards in the oil pan lol so this motor going in it and trying to do it cheap
