not my car, helping a buddies get his combo fixxed up.but all that can be dealt with after the motor is done, right now theres 4.56 gear, with a tci 4000 stall. it will get a taller tire(29") from the 26 or 27 that are on it.
i feel the 950 is holding it back, but i have too get the motor from grenading itself first(which is his issue, and why i have the motor now).custom cams have always seemed best, IMO
and no saidly, not much weight can be lost from the car. its as light as he wants its, so thats what i have to work with.
same heads intake carb cam was in his 396, and it went 11.20s n/a.
but sadly he was in coil bind and destroyed the cam , first motor cracked the block do to him not gapping the rings, know its a 496 that just lost
oil pressure(there was a couple things going on there) and now its in my hands too get it right. i need to figure out the best cam combo i can get.
