    Question 454 auto tranny flexplate?

Is there a difference in the flexplate for a gen. IV 454 for a turbo 400 as compared to a gen. V or VI 454 running a turbo 400? I want to make sure I purchase the right animal the FIRST time around. Thanks

Gen IV is different from Gen VI or VI. Which do you have.

I have a 1970 LS6 454 which makes it a gen. IV engine, but I did not know if it requires a "SPECIAL" flexplate (starter ring) for my turbo 400. I am aware that the engine is externally balanced.
