    First BB Buildup

I've done various small blocks, VW's, and even Aircraft motors. This is my first build on a 454. The block is assembled, so now comes everything from oil pump to heads, intake and the rest. Can anyone recommend a good manual for the 454 with step by step and torque values ect? Thanks

Big-Block Chevy Performance - by Dave Emanuel

These are two of the best, in my opinion. I use them both all the time. Most of the bigger book stores carry them in stock---Borders, Barnes and Noble, etc. John
