Its a '81 454. It will be a street rebuild, and I haven't come up with a budget, because I have no idea how much this stuff costs.

Tell us about your car or truck it is going in
What is the rear gear?,Is it a manual or auto tranny?
I will guess that you want to run on pump gas?
You can buy stroker crank and build a 496 if you wanted to.
I could ask about 100 more questions but I will let you put a few of your ideas out there..
