it is the same as any big block as for how to hop it up some thing are not the same as a mark 4 but i have built some and they work good the small o ports may hurt to build they have rotators on IN and EX of the heads so big springs for a new cam will be $$ but you could use rotator eliminators. a good rebuild on the bottom end can take the 450 hp i would run a hyd roller cam for tq good intake and some bigger valves and EX and headers with aX tube. i think you will be happy . pistons are not hard at all they are the same as all big block 454 just pick the type and crLast edited by pat mccarthy; 10-22-2006 at 01:47 PM.
