did pontiac ever make a 427?

i've been lookin at a 79 camaro that i could get for roughly 1000-1200. i don't want the car, it's piece of crap but it's got a 427 in it. now he's says he's askin that much because it's a rare old pontiace motor and it's got a tri-power intake. now i thought that pontiac never made a 427. now if it is what he says it is, how hard is gonna be to find parts for it?

Full-size Canadian Pontiacs were available with Chevrolet big blocks, but were badged as Pontiac engines.

Here's a link to a sales brochure of a 1969 Pontiac that offered the 427 option...
