You can also double the gaskets (glue/seal thoroughly together) and I've seen billet Al spacers in Summit or Jegs.
The cast aluminum covers for my 502 had to be milled out 25 mils on the inside along with double gaskets to clear the nuts on the roller rockers. And then of course I decided to not use them anyhow
