It was a long time ago i dealt with that problem.I was mistaken about having the Diode in there.I remember putting 1 or 2 Diode's in but it didn't fix the problem because the Diode just broke. So your right I just have an on and off switch that runs staright to the Regulator. It kickstarts the Alternator and keeps the Battery charged. When I first bought the car I had alot of electrical problems and wires running everywhere. Its better now but I would like to have the whole car rewired for safety precautions. The way I turn my car off is by the Ignition switch Toggle Switch and even if I turn off the Ignition switch the electric fuel pump stay's on until I turn that Toggle switch off.Probably not the safest setup the way its configured right now.Thats one of the reasons besides the eratic Idling that Im afraid to just take the car out around the block. That and no Ins,Reg,Insp.
