I was at a dyno this weekend trying to work on getting my blown (6-71) BBC running good. We did manage to get 500HP at the wheel (@5100RPMs) but after making another jet change the engine smoked the clutch.

I know it's making 515 ft/lb torque at the wheels right now before the clutch slipped. So I'm not sure what exactly the outcome will be. (I'm guessing maybe 600 torque and 700hp??)

This is mostly driven on the street just cruising around. My wife drives it alot and it's seen some Woodward Dream Cruise time. (idling in bumper to bumper traffic for hours) But I would like to be able to visit the dyno again and not have the clutch slip.

So any reccomendations would be appreciated.

I was told to check out McLeod clutches, possibly their "Ram Series"

BBC uses a 11" clutch right?
