Is there any blocks I should stay away from
I have a friend and he has a big block with all accessories, he pulled it from a junk yard .He wants 150 for it,should I stay away from it if it was pulled from a car?I want to stroke it
for the drag strip.
Friends dont let friends drive fords!

bb's are getting expensive, 150 for everything is a good deal, even for a smallblock in some cases.You don't know what you've got til it's gone

if the rods are not hanging out and not a crack block or spun mains. for that price i would buy all that i could get
how many can you get i need 4

yes you may want to walk away from one. but the 427 tall deck can go to 526 and more . the 366 crank you can sell the rods main caps for over 150 on e-bayOriginally posted by erik erikson

I bought the 76 in August , but haven't been able to work on it. When I get a chance I'll post some pictures.
