    Question 396

     



    hey guys ill be looking for a 396 this summer for my elky that im buying, i was wondering how much one would go for? like if i found one than ran? or if i found a short or long block, or even if i found a block, how much would it cost me? did the 396 come in a 4 bolt main?

    i have one to sell all set to go to and they did come in four bolt mains but you do not need this if you are below 600 hp

    you have one? id buy it from you but i wont be able to afford it untill the summer, cuz i have to get my van project running, then ill be on the look out for a 396... how much wold one run me?

    this is a hydrallic roller cam engine new steel l88 crank new forged pistons moly rings fully machined fresh bored honed with deck plates and deck with bhj tru-deck arp rod bolts fully balanced with in 1/2 of gram. heads have hard ex seats ss 2.19 and 1.88 ex and hp valve job and bowled out and new springs head are fresh new pushrods and kick out oil pan hd oil drive and mv hv77 oilpump gm wind tray new proessional products power plus satin intake and much more $3000 takes it all work done by me in my shop and is pro built

    man i wish i had 3,000 lying around, haha, yea, i cant wait to get my elky. when i get the car and the engine, i want to pump up the engine to push out around 450 horses, and at those numbers, im not sure how much torque, but those are my plans on my elky project.
