the two big things are the pistons and balancing the bottom end you can get 580 out of a the short deck block9.800 and 650 out of the 10.200 this is about the max and the parts are not to bad but the 650 would be $2000 for the crank and you would need a custom oilpan the mallory metal for the crank is $$ and the pistons start getting very short and it is hard to get the ring pack on the piston and same with the wrist pins so a540 or 572 or a bit bigger on the bore like i said before .i would stay with the 4.500 crank if going to run a blower on top .more is better and to much is not enough
