 well i have a 78 blazer with a 350 in it and i was wondering if it would be would the trouble to switch it out from an old 454 from a 70s truck.
 
 plus does anyone know all that would entails like would the new tranny work with the steering colonm.

 I took a 350 out of a 78 chev p.u. and installed a 454. everything works easy. I used the 350 mounts and even nthe distributor off of the 350 on the 454.

 my 75 truck 454 was rated @ 245 HP...its a low compression smog motorso it didnt originally have big HP....the big differance between it & your 350 will be torque.75 GMC C-15 factory 454, automatic, lowered
