Thats a good point also. I never bought a motor and not broke it down and built it myself. in fact i would never buy a motor and just drop it in without taking it apart and seeing whats inside. You can find a 396 block on ebay for a couple hundred bucks and build it from there for relatively inexpensive, probably a little more than what this dude wants for that 396 and then you'll know that everything in there is new.
