    LS-7

     



    LS-7's are iron block/heads. The suffix is "XCH". They are hard to identify based off of redily available material, but do have lots of power.

    I have one in my '64 chevelle malibu.

    LS-7 Crate motor

     



    casting # on the heads should be 6272990(open chamber rec. port)
    "XCH" is stamped on the front on the block.
    Iron block and Iron heads.
    12.25: 1 compression
    .560/.600 solid lifter cam
    78 malibu
    86 corvette
