I personally would not buy any used roller rockers, I know others have done it, but I think it is too much of a gamble. New ones aren't that awfully expensive, so why take a chance? To answer your question, yes, you can use them, you dont need any special parts or anything....but if you're expecting to feel any difference, you wont. They have less friction than regular rockers, so they free up a little more HP, but it wont be noticeable. Unless you know without a doubt where they came from, and their history, I would not do it. As far a Proform, I dont have any real time experience with them. I dont care much for Proform products in general, so I guess I would not use their carb parts. Get a good Holley or Edelbrock, and you'll be fine. Is it a street engine? Everyone wants a double pumper, cause it sounds cool to have one, but a vacuum secondary will give better performance on the street...noticeably better! And better mileage to boot. Been there, done that, several times! JohnWhen your dreams turn to dust, Vacuum!
